If this does turn into something I'd be so pleased

Just because people are whining doesnt mean they dont like creature crossing games, that is a false equivalency. I love the AC show but this one just felt as ****...
Hollow is a great way to explain it.
It seems only from reading all of the comments like the people who love really New Horizons and have no complaints are individuals who discovered Animal Crossing either with this game or with pocket camp.
Dude, the most outspoken critics and the best comments ARE those who enjoy animal crossing games. Half the time that they bring up old AC matches with much more functionality/features. Read the damn remarks instead of skimming.
More varied and meaningful interaction with villagers are a huge plus, as the villagers and their personalities is a huge draw for me , rather moreso than village/house customization. Decorating stuff is most likely the most fleshed out part of it but it is kinda postponed gratification, whereas chatting or playing with your villagers is content that is more immediately in front of you.
I kinda wish the game had a cooking system or something? AC would not ever work as a farming game, obviously, but I wish there was more purpose into this fruit and things. Maybe certain villagers like particular dishes or you might create food for parties or something.
Spoilers if you don't wish to learn about potential future content upgrades, but dataminers have found code that is seemingly related to growing veggies and some kind of cooking (DIYs possibly?) . I don't know the complete details, but this has been posted some time ago, and I'd guess it would be coming round the time of the Harvest Festival if that is still something.
Yessss. Yeah a lot of the baseline characteristics and gameplay seems like it would encourage a feature like this, source collecting and recipes , so it does not seem like a massive jump. If this does turn into something I'd be so pleased.
