Serendipity Arts Foundation is a non-profit arts and cultural development foundation that is endeavored to foster cultural development in the South Asia region. The foundation helps artists through several arts initiatives. Its primary initiative and the largest project is Serendipity Arts Festival, a multidisciplinary festival, organizing every year in December in Goa. SAF is going to be a virtual event in 2020 because of the pandemic. It will be named SA Virtual 2020. Art lovers can be a witness to this grand festival from the comfort of their home. Special Attraction of SA Virtual
Serendipity Arts Foundation has left no stone unturned to make the event grand. SAF has collaborated with the artists who have got name and fame in their fields. Like every year, the highlights of this year are music, dance, culinary, painting, photography, film, and theatre.
SA Virtual will engage its audience with free workshops and conversations. From the field of crafts, workshops include Phad, Gond Paintings, guided drawings, and Madhubani. For children, SA Virtual will organize art workshops and DIY sensory engagement activities like scroll paintings, kite making, Sanjhi paper cutting, and more.
Audiences interested in watching multilayered arts can enjoy "The Last Poet" curated by Amitesh Grover (a performance-based artist and curator in New Delhi), combines art form of theatre, film, sound art, digital scenography, creative coding, and live performance.
Anmol Vellani, founder and former executive director of the India Foundation for the Arts, is the curator of an unfinished story, named My Story | Your Story | Our Story. The play will be performed live and recorded medium.
